About Veller

The wrong shoes. The wrong bag. The wrong jacket. An anorak for a work dinner in Mumbai; trainers for a hike in the Himalayas. Small mistakes, perhaps, but ones that could change how a journey began.
I found myself returning to the same feeling: setting off somewhere with excitement and curiosity, only to arrive feeling slightly unprepared, slightly out of place. I wanted something different, to arrive ready, to feel at home in my surroundings, and to be in the experience from the very beginning.
That idea became Veller.
It brings together my instinct for travel with fifteen years spent exploring what makes something worth buying. I grew up in a sixth-generation family retail business, learning the value of service on the shop floor before moving into menswear buying and travelling the world to seek out craftsmanship, quality and the right pieces. More recently, I’ve developed collaborations with people and brands who share that same sense of purpose and creativity.
Veller is the result of all of it: a traveller’s curiosity, a retailer’s eye and a belief that choosing well can make a difference to how we experience a place. Because packing for a journey shouldn’t be about taking more. It should be about taking the right things. The pieces that make you feel comfortable when you arrive. The things you reach for without thinking. The things that let you forget what you’re wearing and concentrate on where you are.
It’s not about owning more. It’s about choosing well, so you can arrive ready, and immediately immerse yourself in the journey ahead.
